Behzod Abduraimov debuts at 92Y in New York
25/1/2019
After a successful solo recital on the main stage of Carnegie Hall two years ago, Behzod Abduraimov returns to New York City to make his debut at 92nd Street Y on 2 February 2019.
He showcases Liszt as both transcriber and composer, first in his transcription of Wagner’s Isolde’s Liebestod, then in his unrivalled masterwork, the Sonata in B Minor. The recital concludes with Prokofiev’s own transcription of ten pieces from his ballet Romeo and Juliet.
