Jean-Yves Thibaudet embarks on a 6 concert tour across the US, China and Korea with Michael Tilson Thomas and the National Youth Orchestra of the USA. Performing Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F across the tour, Thibaudet will appear at Carnegie Hall (19 Jul); National Concert Hall, Taipei (24 Jul); Shanghai Symphony Hall (27 Jul); National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing (29 Jul); Lotte Concert Hall, Seoul (1 Aug) and Daejeon Culture & Arts Center (03 Aug). 

The tour follows Thibaudet’s recent US festival appearances at Bravo!Vail, performing Saint-Saëns with Philadelphia Orchestra and Stéphane Denève, and Aspen Music Festival, performing Bernstein’s Age of Anxiety with Aspen Chamber Symphony and Robert Spano. Next in Thibaudet’s diary will be UK appearances with Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Marin Alsop at Edinburgh International Festival and the BBC Proms.
