Claire Chase is Artist in Residence at Aldeburgh Festival

Claire Chase is Artist in Residence at the Aldeburgh Festival this year. Under the Festival’s ‘Britten and America’ theme, Chase plays Bernstein’s Halil with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra on 9 June, performs programmes from her ‘Density 2036’ project on 14 June, and Feldman’s For Philip Guston on 16 June at sunrise.
Claire Chase returns to the UK for the BBC Proms in August with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra and again in January 2019 to the Philharmonia Orchestra’s ‘Music of Today’ series to perform Dai Fujikura’s Flute Concerto in Southbank Centre’s New Music International Festival where Claire Chase is the Featured Artist.
