Bertrand Chamayou debuts with New York Philharmonic

Praised for an intelligence and eloquence only found among the truly great pianists Bertrand Chamayou debuts with New York Philharmonic under Semyon Bychkov in four concerts at David Geffen Hall on 17, 18, 19 and 22 May.
Bertrand performs Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No.1 in a programme also featuring Brahm’s Tragic Overture and Shostakovich’s Symphony No.5.
Ahead of these performances Bertrand Chamayou joins forces with Sol Gabetta for a recital at Lincoln Center’s ‘Great Performers’ on 12 May, performing a programme of works by Beethoven, Britten and Chopin.
