This week, Stephen Milling returns to Semperoper Dresden in Verdi’s La forza del destino as both Padre Guardiano and Marchese di Calatrava. Mark Wigglesworth conducts Keith Warner’s new production which runs from 28 April.

Following previous appearances in Dresden as Fasolt (Das Rheingold) and Hagen (Götterdämmerung), both under Christian Thielemann, Milling closes his 2017/18 season with a return to Teatro alla Scala as Rocco (Fidelio) under Myung-Whun Chung before joining the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden as Hagen for their Ring Cycle in the autumn.
