Mari Eriksmoen debuts as Mélisande

This week Mari Eriksmoen takes to the stage of Opera Vlaanderen as Mélisande, marking her role debut in Debussy’s masterwork Pelléas et Mélisande, in a new staging created by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Damien Jalet. Under the baton of Alejo Pérez, performances open in Antwerp from 2 to 13 February before transferring to Ghent until 4 March.
Enjoying a varied 2017/18 season, Eriksmoen’s highlights include concerts in Berlin with both Iván Fischer and Sir Simon Rattle, at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw with Markus Stenz, in Oslo with Andrew Manze, at the Mozarteum with Pablo Heras-Casado, and in Copenhagen with Juanjo Mena, before returning to Festival d’Aix-en-Provence in July as Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte.
