On 6 November Lucienne Renaudin Vary launches her debut album The Voice of the Trumpet, released by Warner Classics, in a concert at the new Seine Musicale in Paris. The repertoire of the CD focuses on the link between the sound of the trumpet and human voice, featuring works from Baroque to jazz. Lucienne performs a programme based on this repertoire under conductor Mathieu Herzog and the Ensemble Apassionato. 

The album was released earlier this month, featuring Orchestre National de Lille, conductor Roberto Rizzi Brignoli and soloists Rolando Villazón and Erik Truffaz.
