Behzod Abduraimov returns to the BBC Proms on 17 July to perform Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2 with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales under Thomas Søndergård at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The programme also includes Sibelius’ Symphony No.7 and Shostakovich’s Symphony No.10. 

This follows his BBC Proms debut last year where he performed Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.3 with the Münchner Philharmoniker under Valery Gergiev. Watch a clip from the performance below:
