Martin Fröst debuts with NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester

Martin Fröst debuts with NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester in Hamburg on 23 and 24 June, performing Aaron Copland’s Clarinet Concerto and Göran Fröst’s Klezmer Dances No.3 under the baton of Thomas Hengelbrock. The concert, entitled ‘Let’s Go to America!’, consists of music from three of the greatest American composers; John Adams, Aaron Copland and Modest Mussorgsky.
2017 also sees Fröst’s debut with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, as well as a return to the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Verbier Festival Orchestra. He will open his 2017/18 season with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra, for which he is Chief Conductor Designate, starting in 2019/20.
