Lawrence Renes makes his debut with the NHK Symphony Orchestra

On 9 June Lawrence Renes makes his debut with the NHK Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo. The programme features Kishino’s Shades of Ochre for Orchestra (a special commission work for NHK and a world premiere) Ichiyanagi’s Symphony No.10, Ikebe’s Symphony No.10 and Turnage’s Piano Concerto with Kyohei Handa.

Highlights of the upcoming season for Renes includes his return to the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducting Bruckner’s Symphony No. 8 and George Benjamin’s Written on Skin with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.
