A regular guest at the New National Theatre Tokyo in recent years, Aga Mikolaj now returns as Contessa Almaviva in Andreas Homoki’s production of Le nozze di Figaro. Conducted by Constantin Trinks, performances start on 20 April.

Balancing her operatic appearances with extensive concert work, Mikolaj has this year appeared in Tokyo, Taipei, Muscat and Turin in Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 and in Monte Carlo in Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis.
