A former member of Opernhaus Zürich​’s Opernstudio, Moldovan baritone Adrian Timpau returns to the stage this week as Schaunard in Ole Anders Tandberg’s production of La bohème. Under the baton of Giampaolo Bisanti, performances run from 15 April to 10 May.

Currently based in New York, Timpau joins Glimmerglass Festival’s Young Artist Program singing Eustachio in Francesca Zambello’s new production of Donizetti’s L’assedio di Calais, and will make his Australian debut next season as Escamillo in a concert performance of Carmen with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra under Music Director Alondra de la Parra.
