Esther Yoo embarks upon recital tour – Korea, Europe and the US

Esther Yoo embarks upon a two month recital tour with regular duo partner Robert Koenig, culminating in her Lincoln Center debut.
Esther performs in Seoul at the Kuhmo Art Hall (6 April) before travelling to Europe to appear at the Oslo Opera House (16 April), Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel at which she is Associated Artist (21 April), Birmingham Conservatoire (25 April), and as part of the ‘Young Musicians’ series at the March Foundation, Madrid (14 & 15 May).
On 21 May Esther will make her Lincoln Center debut before performing in the Miami Friends of Chamber Music recital series (23 May).
Throughout this recital period, Esther will perform violin sonatas by Beethoven (No.8), Debussy, Grieg (No.3) and Mendelssohn, as well as Bach’s Chaconne, Glazunov’s Grand Adagio, and Tchaikovsky’sValse Scherzo – the latter of which is featured on her recent Deutsche Grammophon release with Vladimir Ashkenazy and the Philharmonia Orchestra.
