Kathleen Kim joins the Los Angeles Philharmonic as Madame Mao in John Adams’ Nixon in China on 3 & 5 March, conducted by the composer himself at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

A well-known exponent of the role with previous outings at the BBC Proms, the Berlin Philharmonie, The Metropolitan Opera and on DVD for Nonesuch, Kathleen Kim’s season continues on a different note with a return to The Met as Sophie in Richard Strauss’ Der Rosenkavalier under Sebastian Weigle.
