This week Nikolai Lugansky embarks upon a tour of the UK with St Petersburg Philharmonic and Yuri Temirkanov. The tour begins with a concert at Saffron Hall on 20 January, followed by performances at The Sage (Gateshead), Colston Hall (Bristol), Symphony Hall (Birmingham), Bridgewater Hall (Manchester), Town Hall (Leeds) and National Concert Hall (Dublin). Lugansky will play both Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini and Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.3.

Next month Lugansky joins St Petersburg Philharmonic and Maestro Temirkanov for a second tour of the US, including concerts at Carnegie Hall, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Chicago Symphony Center.
