Conductor Eduardo Strausser signs to HarrisonParrott

HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome conductor Eduardo Strausser to its roster for worldwide general management.
Eduardo is the Resident Conductor and Assistant Director at Theatro Municipal de São Paulo and Opera magazine has already praised him for the “youthful fire” and ”expressionist zest” he brings to his performances. Season highlights in São Paulo include Strauss´ Elektra, as well as performances of The Nutcracker and a Stefano Poda production of Mahler’s Symphony No.1 with Balé da Cidade de São Paulo.
Eduardo’s other operatic highlights include Die Zauberflöte with the Meininger Hofkapelle, La bohème at the Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro and performances with Teatro La Fenice in Venice. This season he returns to Italy for performances of La bohème at the Teatro Verdi in Padova and Teatro Sociale di Rovigo.
In addition to his operatic work, Eduardo has worked with the Berner Symphonieorchester, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, Lucerne Festival Strings and Berliner Camerata.
Eduardo has participated in masterclasses with Bernard Haitink and David Zinman in Switzerland, and with Kurt Masur in New York. He is fluent in Portuguese, Romanian, German, English, Italian, French, Spanish and Hebrew.
