Allison Cook gives her debut performance of Erwartung
20/5/2016
On 28 May Allison Cook sings Erwartung for the first time in a staged performance by Netia Jones at Bergen National Opera. Baldur Brönnimann conducts the performance as part of the Bergen International Festival.
An extraordinarily versatile artist, Allison has enjoyed her debut at La Monnaie in Adès’ Powder Her Face as well as her first Judith (Duke Bluebeard’s Castle) at Teatr Wielki. Allison has just completed a tour of China with Britten Sinfonia singing Britten’s final vocal work, Phaedra, and will revisit the composer next season in her return to Teatro alla Scala as Miss Jessel in The Turn of the Screw.
