Conductor & violinist Riccardo Minasi signs to HarrisonParrott

HarrisonParrott is delighted to announce exclusive worldwide representation of conductor and violinist Riccardo Minasi.
Described by The Guardian as “an outstanding musician”, Minasi’s recording of arias based on the story of Agrippina with mezzo Ann Hallenberg has just been named Opera Recital Disc of the Year at the International Opera Awards. Previously ‘Stella di Napoli’ with Joyce DiDonato was awarded the Diapason d’Or of the Year and the BBC Music Magazine Award, as well as being nominated for a Grammy Award.
Having been Associate Conductor of the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra from 2008, Minasi co-founded the ensemble Il Pomo d’Oro in 2012 and has gone on to work in many of the top opera houses in Europe. Recent and upcoming engagements include a new ballet by Christian Spuck, Der Sandmann, as well as Don Giovanni and Il matrimonio segreto for Opernhaus Zürich, Iphigénie en Tauride for the Hamburgische Staatsoper, Carmen for l’Opéra national de Lyon, Rinaldo at Theater an der Wien, and orchestral conducting/directing engagements with the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, London Chamber Orchestra, Ensemble Resonanz, Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Zürcher Kammerorchester and La Scintilla.
