Pablo Heras-Casado conducts Carnegie Hall’s 125th Anniversary Gala
29/4/2016
Pablo Heras-Casado conducts Carnegie Hall’s 125th Anniversary Gala concert on 5 May — exactly 125 years to the day that the Hall first opened its doors in 1891.
The evening is hosted by Richard Gere, and Pablo conducts the Orchestra of St. Luke’s and the Oratorio Society of New York. Special guest performers include Lang Lang, Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman, Emanuel Ax, Renée Fleming and James Taylor, amongst others.
Pablo will return once again with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, of which he is Principal Conductor, to the New York area later this year. They will present a performance of Beethoven’s Fidelio on 31 July at the Caramoor Festival.
