
Sophie Pacini signs to Warner Classics

The ECHO Klassik award winning German-Italian pianist Sophie Pacinihas signed an exclusive recording contract with Warner Classics.
Sophie’s label debut is set for release in autumn 2016 and will be devoted to solo piano music by Beethoven and Liszt. The central work will be Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No.21 ‘Waldstein’ and the album will also feature a programme of Liszt piano works and transcriptions including Wagner’s Tannhäuser overture, Liebestraum No.3, the Réminiscences de Don Juan, Consolations Nos.1 – 3 and the Hungarian Rhapsody No.6.
Commenting on the signing, Jean-Philippe Roland, EVP of Artists & Repertoire at Warner Classics, said: “Sophie immediately put a spell on us through her munificent way of playing and her engaging personality.”
