Nikolai Lugansky tours the US

Nikolai Lugansky embarks on a major tour of the USA this week, performing with San Francisco Symphony, Washington’s National Symphony Orchestra and Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Performances of Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini open and close the tour. Lugansky plays the work at concerts with San Francisco Symphony on 10 — 13 March under the baton of Charles Dutoit and again later in the month with Boston Symphony Orchestra and its Music Director Andris Nelsons on 24 — 26 March.
In between, Lugansky travels to Washington DC to perform Brahms’ Piano Concerto No.1 at concerts on 17 — 19 March with Osmo Vänskä.
