This week Benjamin Schmid and Ariel Zuckermann perform a classical and jazz programme together at two concerts with the Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich.

The centrepiece of the programme is the world premiere of Willeitner’s Violin Concerto, and the concerts also feature Gulda’s Concertpiece for Violin ​‘Wings’, Ellington’s Prelude to a Kiss and Caravan, and Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story.

The concerts take place at Wiener Musikverein on 10 December and at Festspielhaus St Pölten on 11 December.

Additionally Schmid performs a ​‘Chill-out’ session at Schwarzberg (former Ost Klub) on 10 December as part of the ​‘Tonkünstler Plugged-In’ programme.
