This week Yulianna Avdeeva embarks upon a tour of North America, beginning with performances of Stravinsky’s Capriccio at three concerts (25, 26 and 28 November) with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal and Kent Nagano in Toronto and Montréal. The concert on 28 November is recorded for international TV broadcast by Mezzo Live.

Avdeeva then continues on to Seattle to perform a recital featuring works by Chopin and Prokofiev as part of the UW World Series at Meany Hall for the Performing Arts. This is followed by two concerts with Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra where she performs Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 under Manfred Honeck.
