On 5 September Sol Gabetta performs Elgar’s Cello Concerto with Dresdner Philharmonie at their season opening concert under the baton of Michael Sanderling.

As the orchestra’s Artist in Residence this season, Gabetta will perform at eight of their concerts throughout 2015/16 — including performances of cello concertos by Martinů and Saint-Saëns — and in October they will tour England together.

Later this month Gabetta performs with Bertrand Chamayou at Beethovenfest Bonn (8 September), Musikfest Bremen (9 September) and with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under Daniele Gatti at the Philharmonie Essen (12 September).
