This month Arvo Volmer returns to Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, conducting them in six concerts over the next two weeks.

On 13, 14 and 15 August, Volmer leads the orchestra in a progamme that features Sibelius’ Lemminkäinen’s Return from Lemminkäinen Suite, John Adams’ Absolute Jest and Beethoven’s Symphony No.7.

Volmer returns to the orchestra for four further concerts (20 – 22 August) where he conducts them in Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No.1 and Piano Concerto No.4 (with Nelson Goerner) and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 9.
