Four HarrisonParrott Artists perform at the Verbier Festival

Four HarrisonParrott artists perform at this year’s Verbier Festival in Switzerland.
Marking his Verbier Festival debut, Behzod Abduraimov performs Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No.3 with the Festival Symphony Orchestra under Manfred Honeck on 26 July. He then makes another festival debut at the Grand Teton Musical Festival in a performance conducted by Osmo Vänskä.
Truls Mørk makes three appearances at the Festival, including a recital with Jan Lisiecki (28 July), a trio recital with Daniil Trifonov and Ilya Gringolts (31 July), and a performance of Schumann’s Cello Concerto with the Festival Chamber Orchestra and Paul McCreesh (30 July).
Returning to the Festival, Lisa Batiashvili performs in three chamber music concerts (22, 23 & 26 July) with some of her regular collaborators, including Gautier Capuçon and François Leleux.
Verbier Festival regular, Martin Fröst, performs Copland’s Clarinet Concerto with the Festival Chamber Orchestra and Gábor Takács-Nagy on 27 July, as well as playing works from his new Roots programme in a chamber concert on 29 July.
