Alban Gerhardt begins his European chamber music tour with Baiba Skride, Gergana Gergova, Nils Mönkemeyer and Brett Dean on 14 June at Philharmonie Essen, performing Mozart’s String Quintets Nos.2 and 6 and Brett Dean’s composition Epitaphs.

The tour continues around seven other European cities and includes performances at Bozar in Brussels (15 June) and London’s Wigmore Hall (19 June) – the latter of which marks Gerhardt’s final concert of his year-long residency at the hall. At these seven performances the repertoire is Mozart’s String Quintet No.6, Dean’s Epitaphs and Brahms’ String Quintet No.2.
