Over the coming weeks Esther Yoo makes her debut in both Turkey and Sweden with performances of Brahms’ Violin Concerto — starting with the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra conducted by Rengim Gökmen on 21 March and then with the Gävle Symfoniorkester and their Artistic Director, Jamie Martin, on 15 May.

On 10 April Esther appears at the annual Interlaken Classics in Switzerland, performing Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with the Zakhar Bron Festival Orchestra under Hansjörg Schellenberger.

A BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist, the Brussels-based violinist made her debut with the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Santtu-Matias Rouvali in December, and will return to the orchestra in April. She is also due to perform Brahms’ Concerto again with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales on 12 May in Cardiff, and recently recorded Bruch’s Violin Concerto with the BBC Philharmonic in Manchester.
