This week Sayaka Shoji returns to the NHK Symphony Orchestra for two concerts, 13 and 14 February, conducted by Paavo Järvi. She performs Sibelius’ Violin Concerto.

Recent and future engagements for Sayaka this season include performances with the São Paulo Municipal Symphonic Orchestra and the Trondheim Symfoniorkester as well as the opening concert for the Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw. Sayaka’s Japan recital tour with Menahem Pressler last spring, was ranked as the third best concerts in 2014 by the Japanese magazine, Ongakunotomo.
