Esther Yoo makes her debut with the Hallé on 22 November, performing Bruch’s Violin Concerto No.1 and Saint-Saens’ Introduction & Rondo Capriccioso under Wyn Davies.

Recently announced as a BBC New Generation Artist, Esther’s first studio recording for the BBC – which features Grieg’s Violin Sonata No. 3 and Tartini’s Devil’s Trill Sonata with pianist Robert Koenig – will be aired in the coming months.

In December she debuts with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, performing Sibelius’ Violin Concerto under Santtu-Matias Rouvali for a BBC Radio 3 Live Studio Concert.

Other debuts this season include performances with Philharmonie Südwestfalen, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra and Gävle Symphony Orchestra.
