A regular performer across Asia, Yulianna Avdeeva embarks on an extensive concert and recital tour of Japan this autumn.
The tour opens on 28 September at the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Taiwan, and also features concerts with the NHK Symphony Orchestra as part of the NHK Music Festival and the 50th Anniversary of NHK Television. Yulianna goes on to perform concerts with the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Michiyoshi Inoue and an 11-recital tour across Japan throughout October and November.
The recital tour includes, among others, an appearance in Tokyo on 14 November and in Sendai on 6 November at Ark Nova — a mobile concert hall set up by the Lucerne Festival in response to the tsunami that affected Northeastern Japan in March 2011. Further recitals take place in Matsue, Nara, Mibu, Tokorozawa, Kamakura, Kawasaki, Fukushima and Takamatsu.
Later this season, Yulianna returns to Japan to undertake the Toshiba Grand Concert Japan Tour with Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse under Tugan Sokhiev.
