HarrisonParrott welcomes pianist Bertrand Chamayou for general management
3/7/2014
HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome pianist Bertrand Chamayou to its roster for worldwide general management.
Already a star in his native France, Bertrand Chamayou appears internationally at the highest level as soloist with leading orchestras including the Orchestre de Paris and London and Rotterdam philharmonic orchestras, and as a recitalist and chamber musician. Working regularly with conductors such as Emmanuel Krivine, Semyon Bychkov, Tugan Sokhiev and Thomas Hengelbrock, Chamayou performs a wide range of repertoire from Mozart, Beethoven and Liszt through to Bartók, Messiaen and contemporary music.
The only artist to win France’s prestigious Victoires de la Musique on three occasions, Chamayou has recorded for Naïve and Sony and has recently signed a three-CD deal with Erato.
In the 2014/15 season he makes his debut with the NHK Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo and takes an all-Schubert recital programme to festivals including the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Menuhin Festival Gstaad, Festival International de Piano La Roque d’Antheron and to venues across Europe including the Wiener Konzerthaus.
