Patricia Kopatchinskaja appears with the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin conducted by René Jacobs. She performs Mozart’s Violin Concerto No.4 and Rondo in C in concerts in Antwerp and Gent on 13 & 14 February, and in Metz on 25 February.
An award-winning interpreter of 20th century and contemporary repertoire, Kopatchinskaja also performs regularly on gut strings; her recording of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with the Orchestre des Champs Elysées conducted by Philippe Herreweghe was highly acclaimed on its release on the Naïve label in 2009.
