The Bamberger Symphoniker and Jonathan Nott were joined by pianist Till Fellner for two concerts, in Rotterdam at De Doelen and in Eindhoven at the Muziekcentrum Frits Philips at the end of March. Fellner performed Mozart’s popular Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major, K488, while the Orchestra performed works very much at the core of their identity, Bruckner’s 4^th and Brahms’ 1^st symphonies. Beethoven’s Leonore Overture no. 3 opened both programmes.
