Tri-borough Music Hub — providing high-quality music education for all

The HarrisonParrott Foundation has partnered with the Tri-borough Music Hub a leading organisation managing the delivery of subsidised music education in three West London boroughs including the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham; the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea; and City of Westminster — working with school pupils, the workforce and the community in general.

Our Impact

Since 2019, we have reached over 150 students through our workshops run together with Triborough Music Hub (TBMH) and led by HarrisonParrott and Polyarts artists. Our workshop leaders have included conductors, violinists, singers, drummers, composers, pianists and a Japanese drumming group.

We have also run workshops for three TBMH ensembles and worked together with 14 Teachers.

During COVID19, we continued to deliver workshops focussing on careers in the music industry and artist insights through six virtual workshops.

Tri-borough Music Hub’s overriding strategic purpose is:

To engage with all schools in the Tri-borough area, in order to reach all pupils and provide them with access to high-quality music education opportunities.
To raise standards and support musical progression for all pupils.
To ensure a broad range of outstanding musical opportunities for pupils, parents and the community.

Artists For Inclusivity

Through the Artists for Inclusivity initiative, HarrisonParrott’s roster of great international musicians will regularly visit a Tri-borough Music Hub programme during their London engagements. Each session will be unique — adapted to the size and age-range of the group, which may include performances, masterclasses, talks or educational workshops.

The opportunity to listen to, and connect with such high-profile and globally-renowned musicians has the most inspiring, profound and enjoyable effect for us all. And so we want to pass this experience to pupils in modern and direct encounters which will engage their passion, ambition and energy.
