Wiener Philharmoniker 3‑year Florida residency

HarrisonParrott is proud to have organised a three-year residency at Artis-Naples, Florida for the Wiener Philharmoniker.
Starting in 2016 making the Orchestra’s debut in Florida, with Valery Gergiev, followed by Franz Welser-Möst with pianist Rudolf Buchbinder in 2017, and with Gustavo Dudamel in 2018.
On each occasion, in their week-long residency, the orchestra performed two separate programmes with the concerts for the launch being described as “a concert powerful enough to leave vapour trails — a breathtaking display of virtuosity and precision” (Naples Daily News) and “a historic institution paying a visit to an ambitious newcomer” (Wall Street Journal ).
Aside from the concerts, the orchestra undertook educational activities including chamber music classes, school visits, masterclasses, panel discussions and open rehearsals.
